Dr. Sassani’s particular areas of interest and expertise are cosmetic surgery of the face, plastic surgery of the breast (enlargement and reduction) body contour surgery (liposuction and tummy tucks) and laser skin resurfacing. Dr. Sassani has performed over 10,000 surgeries.

Dr. Sassani’s patients come from many different walks of life, including entertainers, athletes and international clientele. He is also an active member of several plastic surgery organizations including: The American Society of Plastic Surgeons and the Broward County Society of Plastic Surgeons.

During the course of his extensive training, Dr. Sassani has engaged in several areas of research, authored and presented a number of scientific papers at both the regional and national levels. He is also active locally in the education of medical students and residents.

  • Graduated with Highest Honors from Rutgers University
  • Obtained his medical degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey
  • Elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society
  • Residency training in General Surgery and Plastic Surgery was at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia
  • Completed post-residency fellowships; these included:
    • Hand Surgery Fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania
    • Craniomaxillofacial Surgery Fellowship at the University of Miami
    • Cosmetic Surgery Fellowship with the renowned Drs. Baker, Gordon and Stuzin in Miami.
