Fort Lauderdale plastic surgeons Dr. Russell Sassani, Dr. George Dreszer, and Dr. Christopher Low have performed many cosmetic procedures for a broad range of people. Several of these patients are eager to share their excitement about the results of their cosmetic procedure performed by our doctors and speak of their skill, knowledge and personality.

Doctor: Dr. Christopher Low

I have met quite a few cosmetic surgeons, having had procedures done in Chicago and California. And after consulting with several more here in Florida, I can say that Dr. Christopher Low is without a doubt the finest cosmetic surgeon I have known.

Although I was primarily in his office for a chemical peel, I told him first that I wanted a bump removed from my nose, and that two surgeons had refused to do it. He saw the risk and the need for caution, but he actually figured out another way to remove it where there was no risk at all. I agreed to have that procedure first, and I was so very pleased with the results. Clearly, Dr. Low is a highly skilled surgeon. But more than that, he was creative in his approach to a problem that I thought I would have to live with for the rest of my life.

Dr. Low took the time to explain the chemical peel I wanted, and he made sure that I had realistic expectations of the results. He presented my other options, just so I could make an informed decision about how to proceed.

Dr. Low performed my peel, and his excellence as a surgeon was clear. The results of my peel were way beyond my expectations. For a middle-aged woman, it was like being given a second chance at life. I was amazed at the difference in my appearance. I have included my before and after pictures because words are not enough to convey what Dr. Low did for me. I look younger, I look fresher, I look prettier . . . . see for yourself.

During the procedure, Dr. Low made me feel so comfortable that I never once was nervous or apprehensive. He checked how I was doing all the way through, and I felt safe and secure in his hands. Dr. Low has a way of connecting with people. He gets to know you, he makes sure to understand what it is you are really looking for. He has done these two procedures for me, and each time, his aftercare was amazing. He calls to check on you, and he is truly available should you need to call him for any reason.

People choose a cosmetic surgeon who they feel has the most skill, and who will give them the best results. Dr. Low is that surgeon. I will go to him for any procedure that I might have in the future. Speaking from experience, I highly recommend him to anyone who is considering cosmetic surgery.

Jeanne is an active and vibrant 60 year old female who underwent a facelift in Fort Lauderdale and several years later still exhibits a beautiful result.

Laurie underwent Breast Augmentation and Eyelid Surgery in Fort Lauderdale.

Like Jeanne, Ray chose to have a facelift in Fort Lauderdale, performed by Dr. Sassani.

After weight loss, Shelley chose a Tummy Tuck and Breast Reduction/Lift to remove excess skin and restore a youthful physique.

Doctor: Dr. Christopher Low

My name is Kelsey Nelson. I am nineteen years old.  On December 13, 2011, while deer hunting I was accidentally shot in the lower left leg with a 30-06 rifle at close range.  I was brought to UAB hospital where Dr. Christopher Low performed a free flap on my leg.  He did a wonderful job and saved my leg from amputation.  I also had a bone graft performed at UAB.  The doctor tells me there is evidence of bone growth but they would like to see more.  They tell me that I may require another bone graft later on, but I hope not.  I am now approximately six months post op and am full weight bearing with the use of an AFO. The tendon that allows me to raise my toes was also damaged and beyond repair, so I am looking forward to the day I can get a tendon transfer and maybe I can eventually walk without the AFO!  I am so grateful to the excellent doctors and staff at UAB, especially Dr. Chris Low and  Dr. Jason Lowe (my mother and I jokingly call them the Low, Lowe combo).

Doctor: Dr. George Dreszer

Dear Dr. Dreszer,

Although I never struggled with weight before my pregnancy, after having my son 7 years ago I gained about 40 pounds and my large but very nice D breasts went from firm to saggy with no elasticity of the tissue to speak of. I spent years "working on my body" to lose the weight and make my appearance a bit more like my old self. What I saw in the mirror was not how I felt inside. After losing weight and not having the results I wanted I decided that plastic surgery was the only way I would be able to achieve what I was looking for. All that tissue; all that flab; all those years.

It has now been two months since my breast reduction and abdominoplasty. Everything has been absolutely perfect, from the initial consultation where you made me feel comfortable and answered all my questions, to each and every post-operative appointment. You are not only an extremely skilled plastic surgeon, but a kind and compassionate person with excellent bedside manner. I appreciate the excellent care you have given me and all you have done for my self-confidence. I love the transformations that I see now when I look in the mirror and I am inspired in all aspects of my life. I have my old body back and I love it! So, thank you, from the very bottom of my soul! I would not hesitate to give you the highest of recommendations to others contemplating similar procedures.

Kindest Regards,

Kari

Doctor: Dr. Sassani & Staff

Dear Dr. Sassani, Renee, Kathryn, Pam & Staff:

I can’t thank you enough for your kindness, compassion, concern & professional care these past few months. Having you as my “construction crew” has relieved me of any anxieties about reconstruction surgery. You have all been there day & night (actually midnight and early morning!!) and I have felt completely cared for and in the right hands since my initial consultation before surgery. Thank you especially Dr Sassani for taking the time to educate me about silicone implants. Had you not done that, I’m afraid I would have made a decision I wouldn’t be happy with.

Best Wishes & Good Health in 2008!

Thank you, Linda

Dear Dr. Sassani:testimonial-5-thumb

I am sending you a very big thank you for your excellent work on my mammaplasty procedure on June 20th (2012).  It is quite incredible how much better I feel now; including my lower back, neck and shoulders.  What a relief!

My smaller breast size is just the right size and they are both symmetrical and so cute too!  Most importantly...  I can actually see my feet for the first time in ages!

With much appreciation and kind regars,

Judith

Doctor: Dr. George Dreszer & Dr. Christopher Low

Dr. Dreszer & Dr. Low:

We met on 7/3/12 to go over my upcoming procedure.testimonial-6-thumb

After I left your office, I was so happy.  I felt I had to write to  thank  you  both!!!  You were both human.  You took the time to explain everything, you made me feel important, and that you really cared about my issues, and wanted to help take the pain away.

But, the thing that impressed me the most (and this may sound silly) you both smiled. Over the past couple of years the specialists I have seen were very professional, but had no personality.  Please don't ever lose yours.  I know in my case it puts me at ease, and I think that is very important before surgery.

Dr. Sassani did a good job in having you join his practice!  I wish the both of you much success!

Thank you again - see you towards the end of July.

Sincerely,

Cathy

Your friendly personalities must be because you are from up NORTH  LOL.

Hope you had a safe 4th

Patient:  Terry M

Doctor: Dr. Christopher Low

Februrary 2012, I met Dr. Low at the V.A. Medical Center in Birmingham (AL). I had a "Basal" Cell Carcinoma" on the front side of my right ear.  Dr. Low explained to me; both in medical and layman terms, how he would repair it following removal.

Because the basal cell had deep roots, Dr. Low removed both skin and cartilage from behind my left ear to make "repairs" to the right ear.

He did a GREAT JOB!!  No pain medication, and a PERFECT heal.  Thought so much of him as well as his abilities, that I shared some of my first "home grown" tomatoes with him in late May!

Dear Dr. Sassani,

Testimonial

Now that I am DONE, it’s hard to believe that one year ago I was in the midst of so many decisions; mastectomy, lumpectomy, double mastectomy, reconstruction, no reconstruction??? I know I made all the right decisions thanks to a wonderful team of doctors: Dr. Herman, you & Glenn are great!!

Today I’m singing a different tune… it’s Brittney Spears – “Oops I did it again”. Yes, I pulled up my shirt again to show someone my new Boobs! SHE was a complete stranger who has a double mastectomy and only has implants. For her, seeing the complete package “Made my day” in her words. The nipples blew her away! She has your card & hopefully will come to see you from Ft. Myers. (The plastic surgeon she uses does not do nipples.)

Speaking of nipples, I think next to giving birth to my children, seeing my newly created nipples is one of the most moving moments/experiences in my life.
The wonder and amazement of their creation still awes me! It was the procedure that finally made me say “Yes, I do have breasts! Not just skin implants! I can’t imagine why any woman wouldn’t do nipples. It was the easiest part of the whole process.

Now that I am DONE, I continue to be thankful, grateful and appreciative of your care and especially your skill as a plastic surgeon. May God continue to bless you with good health so you can bless women like me. Which in turn can give hope to other women who need reconstruction work following mastectomies. There is life & there are breasts following breast cancer. I think I even like my new ones better!! Even though after surgery there is no feeling & use your imagination.

With Gratitude,
Linda
