What’s New!

    We are now offering a new and painless spider vein treatment! The new product is called ASCLERA (polidocanol), manufactured by  Merz Aesthetics. This products is used solely for the treatment of spider veins on all areas of the body including the face.

    ASCLERA was FDA approved in 2010 and is now the most comfortable treatment for diminishing spider veins. Based on clinical trials with ASCLERA 84% of patients were satsfied with their results at 26 weeks out, as compared to only 63% using the old fashioned hypertonic saline solution.

    How does ASCLERA actually work? As a sclerosing agent that is injected into the veins, it works by damaging the endothelium, which are the cells that line the inside of the veins. Over time, the vein will be replaced with tissue.
